Hey there! I am Carmen Jai

the Passion and Brains behind Family Childcare Builder.

The vision for Childcare Builder. came back in 2004, two years after I started my first education-based family childcare program. I had done so much research, attended every training, read every book and still I felt like I was going in circles.

I remembered always thinking how it would have been great to help others like me to start their business. I wanted to be the help I wished I had when I was starting my childcare business and I wanted to help them make it quality, educational and successful… so I did.

In 2005, I started helping other providers in my area set up their childcare programs, a few centers but mostly family childcare. I helped with everything from getting through licensing, organizing files to helping with program set-up and accreditation. I pointed many in the direction of a successful startup and smooth program operations and I am so excited to do the same for you.
